Haven't been able to watch much over the last couple of games. Maybe it was a good thing that MAF had a rough outing versus Vegas and that will lessen his desire to come back for another year. With the current state of where the Wild is and will be next year there is ZERO reason to bring him back. Save some money. give Jesper 30+ games to really get his feet wet and then be ready to go guns a-blazin that first year when Zach and Ryan's contract issues are over....

Boldy was a little inconsistent the first half of the season, especially early on, but damn....he is going to be a star in this league. Forty goals should be the mark to shoot for next year for young Matt and if he can stay healthy there's no reason he can't do it. The Kirill, Ek, Boldy line is frickin LETHAL!!

I don't hate it so long as he doesn't lead the team in starts next season. Next season should be all about identifying the future until the Suter and Parise contracts expire.

Agreed. If this is to move away from Gus, then fine.

If this is to keep the Flower around another year and go to battle with Gus the flower again, I'm a bit disappointed.

I read elsewhere that the Wild brass are not enamored with Gus' work ethic, which if true could mean they're ready to move on from him. fwiw of course.
