The "highlights" I saw from yesterday looked like there were about 273 fans in the stands.....will that be enough to sustain this league?!

I was thinking the same thing. More fans at a HS JV game. In short, Overhead has to be killing them. Or does TV pay for that? (Unless they charge $18 dollars for a hotdog.) :scooter:

Anyway, any players we can turn into a sucess story. There's going to be at least one. AKA HeHateMe. (And not the rube here.) No offense HHM.

Sunday May 8th, USFL Mother's Day top matchup :

USFL Games on TV Today
Houston Gamblers at New Orleans Breakers, 3 p.m. ET on NBC

Birmingham remained undefeated with a 16-10 victory on Saturday night over Tampa Bay, so both Houston and New Orleans will try and keep pace in this one. The Breakers can stay a game behind with a win while the Gamblers will create a three-way scrum for second with a victory. Both quarterbacks have put up decent numbers through the first three weeks so this contest could feature plenty of offensive fireworks but don't count out the possibility of either defense stealing the spotlight.

I've watched a few games so far. Honestly, it's terrible, but I still like having the option to watch football in the spring/summer. Probably would help if there were a team a I gave a shit about.
