Yep, I said the exact same thing a while back. Heck, I think I would rather play the Thunder than either the Lakers or Warriors right now. But, a lot of that has to do with playoff experience and the ref factor.

rockets chances for getting into the play-in game took a big hit tonight when they lost to the warriors. mavericks keep winning. they've figured something out and they could be in the 4th spot sooner as opposed to later. nuggets have the lead on the clippers right now.

Den really has nothing outside of Joker when Murray is out.
Clips also struggle to do anything wo Kawhi. Harden can’t create anything like Houston beard

yup, two teams going nowhere without their two stars. Its pretty embarrassing for the clips though that PG and Harden can't step up.

kings lose to the celtics by one point. big comeback falls short. spurs have the lead on the pelicans in the 4th. mavericks up on the warriors by a bucket in the third now. will have to update the playoff seedings thread tomorrow as there'll be some movement.

there's got to be some grumblings about Doc going on in that Bucks locker room. They've been shit every since he came aboard.

If they would have simply ran the same squad back with minor changes, they’d be a much better team they are now.

Unlike the Wolves with Rudy, I have a hard time seeing year 2 with Dame being any different.

i'm getting worried about the Lakers. And I just want them to fail so badly. But again today, they just beat Cleveland by 19 - and the Cavs were really only down Okoro and Wade. The Lakers were without Wood and Vandy. Feels like they are gelling. Meanwhile we get our asses kicked by Phoenix. Bleh.

Cleveland has been pretty healthy the past 8 games and are 3-5 in that time losing to the Lakers by 19, Phoenix without Allen by 21, Denver without Murray by 29, Charlotte by 7, and Miami without Herro or Bam by 3.

The basketball gods giveth and they taketh away. Malachi Flynn has followed up his 50 outing against Atlanta with two 3 point games on 1-19 shooting.

speaking of Cle: players like Donovan Mitchell just sad me out. that thing about today's game. He is going to decline his PO that would keep him in Cleveland... because.... New York probably? He's from NY. So here's a scoring guard, an All Star with questionable D, making 35 mil a year, on a young building team with some really nice pieces - Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Max Strus, Okoro is playing much better this year - so really, he's got some great parts to want to stick with to build something - but he wants out. Chasing but not building. And what part does he play in his 18-29 playoff record thus far? Watch. In a couple years from now, he'll sign with the Lakers on a vet min deal.

with the rockets leading by three and eight seconds left the mavericks foul jabari smith. he then goes chick-fil-a on the bit and misses both of them and of course the mavericks go down the floor and hit the clutch three to send the game to OT. dante exum. irving missed a three to tie the game before the foul on smith. the rockets win this game and the clippers almost assuredly would get the 4th seed. now--not so fast.

as an aside has any timberwolf hit a shot at the end of the game to send it to OT or win the game this year? i can't think of any off hand.

charlotte's come back from 10 down at halftime to take a one point lead over the thunder. go hornets!

the pelicans have a four point lead over the suns with the game right now in clutch time. pick your poison in the sixth or seventh spot for the wolves.

TJ mcconnell. 22 points tonight in a win. 11-14 from the field - and 0-1 from three.

OKC sneaks out a 3 point win over Charlotte. Odd box you almost never see. Charlotte played only 8 players - and all scored in double figures.

I mean he averages under 30min per game so he played around his normal plus OTs. Someone somewhere else said he was totally wiped/exhausted.
