Can’t let them steal 1 Tuesday. We were favored this last game. Ant stepped up, didn’t try to split the double as much and made mostly good decisions. Alexander-Walker played really well and has been lately.
I thought Coach Finch did a really good job especially in the first half with his rotations & substitutions.
This team has such great depth with bench players that provide unique changes of pace, having the ability to keep the players fresh for the second half is a huge advantage that should never be wasted.

Yep. Also, Karl played about 27 minutes. He was good in the first half, but much less in the 2nd. Maybe gassed. So he didn’t play much in the second.
Good coaching.

combination of foul trouble and he found the lineup that put the game away. if it aint broke don't try to fix it.

Currently there’s too small of a sample size BUT if the Ant man has another level that comes out in the post season, hold on to your butts.
Feels like we’re due for one of his viscous dunks. Has anyone heard from Collin’s since that one dunk? Shit can ruin a man.
You could literally see Phoenixs hearts just get ripped out of their chests when Ant started draining shot after shot. They got no answer for him.
Again, keep pounding them on the boards and play smart, and this is over in 5.

NAW has been the dude today. Role player supreme. His first rotation gave the Wolves an enormous lift and he hasn't looked back.

But don’t gas them out in the first half either. Finch taking advantage of this depth is gonna be really important this post season.

Wolves big 2nd half run here over the last 10 minutes corresponds with Naz Reid checking into the game. 78-68 when he checked in. 10 minutes later: 105-83.

Really glad the rest of the league is going to see Nickeil Alexander-Walker play this postseason. But also excited more people will get to hear him speak. He’s one of the most thoughtful in his answers of any player I’ve covered. It’s a podium game for NAW. I’d recommend checking it out.

Someone is going to throw big money at NAW
But not this summer. We have him for one more year.

No Phoenix field goals in final 7:03 of the third. #suffocation
If you dutifully read my posts in the thread you’d have known that!
i must've missed that one. i know i posted that it was a 21-5 run to end the quarter--but i didn't realize there weren't' any FGs. 5-0 sun run to start the 4th and then the wolves regained the momentum and it was game over--though i didn't know that at the time either.

Great game!
What I liked most is even though the refs tried their best to fuck us, we just kept grinding, kept our cool, and blew them away…
The Suns have to be wondering how they can possibly beat us when we play like that.
There were defiantly some bad calls, but I thought in general the way they called the game played to our advantage. They let us bang a lot.
i saw a lot of contact when there were no whistles. i think that definitely favors the wolves. gives players like jaden a couple of extra fouls that he probably doesn't get in the regular season.

I like NAW, but remember the cost? We had to cut bryn Forbes. Not sure it was worth it
Just for fun I looked it up to see if he was playing overseas on somewhere or something.
He’s not. Minnesota was his last professional basketball stop.
But he did catch two domestic violence charges since leaving. So he’s got that going for him.
On February 15, 2023, Forbes was arrested in north-central San Antonio on suspicion of assault with bodily injury. He had reportedly engaged in a verbal argument with his girlfriend Elsa Jean, whom he later struck multiple times. The San Antonio Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and provided aid to the woman. Forbes was booked at the Bexar County Jail. Those charges were dismissed on July 19, 2023.
On February 13, 2024, Forbes was once again arrested on charges of assault. According to police reports, Forbes entered the apartment of “an ex-significant other” – the mother of his two children – and proceeded to hit and choke her until she was eventually able to break free and seek authorities. Forbes reportedly fled the scene soon afterwards.

His 2 championship rings will only increase the monetary amount of his future deal.
His defense is so good. He is taller than you think because he gets so low on d.
Sure, his stroke looks different but it's damn effective
